Lark provided an absolutely incredible experience from beginning to end - a new Philly favorite! We started with the baby romaine salad and home made focaccia. The salad was a flavor explosion, unlike any salad I’ve had. The sesame seeds added a nice texture. The focaccia was good, not great. I felt it was a bit too oily, especially when paired with the olive oil/butter. I would skip next time. We got the agnolotti and WOW! They were little pillows of savory and sweet goodness. The thyme honey added the perfect touch of sweetness. We followed that up with the sourdough crusted halibut. Talk about flaky - it was falling apart to the touch. Incredible. The only thing I will note about the food, which I don’t believe is enough to take off a star, is that it was all oily. I think it could’ve been taken down a notch. Lark is an amazing place for special occasions, birthday dinner, etc. The ambiance is upscale and classy. I will absolutely come back, one of my favorite dining experiences in Philly!

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding weekend, and much of that is thanks to the incredible experiences we had at The Lark Restaurant and The Landing Kitchen. Our rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks at The Lark were truly unforgettable. The service was exemplary—every staff member made our guests feel welcome and cared for. The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented, with every bite receiving compliments. The atmosphere was warm, stylish, and celebratory—exactly what we were hoping for. A heartfelt thank you to Jennifer and Rachel, who were fantastic to work with from start to finish. They were responsive, attentive, and ensured every detail ran smoothly the entire evening. It was the perfect kickoff to our wedding weekend! To round out the celebration, we hosted a farewell brunch at The Landing Kitchen the morning after the wedding. It was the perfect way for our guests to unwind before heading home. The outdoor setting was beautiful and relaxed, allowing everyone—especially the bride and groom—to enjoy meaningful conversations in a more informal, peaceful environment. The brunch offerings were fresh, satisfying, and thoroughly enjoyed by all. From start to finish, both venues helped create moments we will cherish forever. We highly recommend The Lark and The Landing Kitchen to anyone looking to host memorable, well-orchestrated events with heart and style.

So delightful to stumble into this wonderful restaurant, went to happy hour. Had a terrific bourbon. Drink for 10 bucks and then one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had! Truly outstanding cavatelli with mushrooms. Will return on our next visit to Philly!

We visited this restaurant on a Sunday evening with a party of 6 and a 5:30 reservation. We were sat promptly at a large table and were greeted by a wonderful waitress who explained the menu and offered helpful suggestions for what to order. My 3 year old was with us and although they don’t have an actual kids menu they gave us several suggestions of what the kitchen could make for him. He wound up choosing pasta with red sauce which while simple was delicious and he was quite happy. For those of us not toddlers we got the octopus, gnocco fritto, and artichoke appetizers to share. They were all amazing but the octopus was by far the star for me and the best octopus I’ve ever had! We had the ricotta cavetelli and pumpkin cappellacci to share between us for a second course both of which we all enjoyed. Then for main courses we got scallops, halibut, and lamb which again were absolutely delicious. The ambience was in line with the level of food and I’d loved to visit here again if we’re ever back in the area.

Great happy hour with reasonable prices for drinks and delicious apps. We had the smoked trout and olives. For dinner we shared a bunch of things. All very good! The pasta with shrimp, so good and spicy. The swordfish, amazing! Hamachi crudo, artichoke and romaine salad. All very good! Highly recommend especially if you can get a table outside!

6 of us were there for late dinner. We ordered couple items in each section from appetizers to deserts for share. The portion and pace were perfect, so we did not feel over full. Everything was just amazingly flavorful and delicious. The service was impeccable. And the dining space is really spacious and comfortable. We will definitely return!

I absolutely love this restaurant, it’s such a hidden gem in the Bala Cynwyd area. From the atmosphere, to the service, drinks, and food, everything is EXCELLENT. The miso glazed octopus is to die for and I love that they mix up the entrees every now and then. Even the happy hour at the bar is excellent. When people come to visit me in Philadelphia this is where I take them before heading into the city. Couldn’t love this place anymore. Thanks for the top tier service and food every time I visit!

Lark pays attention to every detail of the customer experience from door to door. This was one of our best dining experiences in quite a while. Their lamb loin was the absolute highlight of the food journey. Their special, duck fusili was wonderfully unique. The desert wasn't as good as the rest of the menu, though still good. The best cocktail we had was the Gotcha. Lark is well worth the price.
